The Autumn Term has been a fantastic start to the academic year at Didsbury High School and Didsbury Sixth Form, with lots of exciting things going on! To end what has been a brilliant year, we have wrapped up some of the highlights from the last few events and have a festive message from Miss Houghton and Mr Theobold!

 Didsbury High School:

Winter Concert:

We had a brilliant Winter Concert on with more musicians than ever! All students have worked so hard in preparation for their Winter Concert, thank you to everyone who took part and anyone behind the scenes who helped make the performance show stopping!

Dance Showcase:

Students took part in a dance showcase. This year’s theme was ‘through the looking glass’ with Latin, Contemporary, Irish, Tap, Ballroom and Street all being represented! Well done to the students who took part, it was fabulous!

Mission Christmas:

We’d like to thank the incredible students, staff and parent/ carer community for their most generous contributions. Mission Christmas is a charity that helps share the joy of gifts for all in our society. The Didsbury community has, as ever, shown real generosity, care and inclusivity for all.

Here is a festive message from our Head of School, Miss Houghton!

Didsbury Sixth Form:

We’ve had a wonderful start to the academic year at Didsbury Sixth Form.

Charity Bake Sale:

In November, we held a charity bake sale, organised by our amazing Social and Diversity & Inclusion Committees. Their efforts not only showcased the amazing sense of community our Sixth Form holds but also supported two incredible causes: Children in Need and Save the Children.

Thanks to your generosity and enthusiasm, we successfully raised £373! Thank you to everyone who contributed cakes and attended the bake sale, these funds will help provide essential resources and opportunities for children across the globe.

Decoration of Form Doors:

In the run up to the holidays, we’ve all been busy getting into the festive spirit. As part of the festivities, our Sixth Form Committee ran a competition to decorate their form doors!

As we leave for the holidays after what has been a great term here at DSF, we would like to wish all of our students and staff a very Happy Christmas. We look forward to seeing everybody back in sixth form in the new year!

Here is a festive message from our Head of Sixth Form, Mr Theobold!

Thats a Wrap!

From all of us at Didsbury High School and Sixth Form, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
