Students of Mathematics at Didsbury Sixth Form are today celebrating their AS Further Mathematics results and Level 3 Qualification in Core Mathematics.
Through hard work and dedication from students, staff and our parent/carer community, the founding cohort’s results have exceeded national attainment measures. 80% of Core Mathematics students achieved either an A or B with 100% getting A-C. Additionally, the Further Mathematicians excelled, with the vast majority of grades being either an A or B. A huge well done.
Tom Theobold, Director of Sixth Form and Deputy Head at Didsbury High School said:
“We are incredibly proud of our students’ achievements, which sets a remarkable standard as their A Level journey continues next year. This outstanding success is a testament to the collaborative efforts of all students, teachers, and parents, who have committed to our vision and our Unashamedly Academic ethos.”
Didsbury Sixth Form opened in September 2023 as an academic, A Level only Sixth Form. The vision is that Didsbury Sixth Form students achieve the grades to access the futures of their choice, including accessing the most competitive and prestigious universities and professions.
Didsbury Sixth Form welcomes students for September 2024 entry to register on GCSE results day. More information can be found under the Sixth Form section of our website.
