A reminder for the parents/carers of our new September 2019 intake – Induction Day takes place on Tuesday 2nd July.
Students will get the opportunity to make new friends, meet form teachers and experience life at Didsbury High School.
Students are being transported by coaches from Nell Lane, Withington, to our sister school Laurus Cheadle Hulme. They should arrive at Nell Lane by at 8.30am in their current school uniform. Part of the day will involve a sporting activity so students should bring PE kit and a pair of trainers in their school bag.
Refreshments at break and lunch will be available. Alternatively, students may bring a packed lunch, water and snacks. If purchasing a meal we ask that students bring cash – please do not send notes as a cashless system is usually operated so change will be limited.
Students will be returned by coach to Nell Lane at 3.30pm.
In the evening of the 2ndstarting at 6.30pm we will host parents/carers at the same venue, Laurus Cheadle Hulme. This evening will include giving parents/carers an insight into Didsbury High School and passing on important induction information.
There is ample parking at the venue or alternatively the 42B bus runs from Didsbury through Cheadle Hulme and stops directly outside the school. Please visit https://tfgm.com/public-transport/busfor details. Cheadle Hulme railway station is a 15-minute walk from Laurus Cheadle Hulme.
Due to capacity in the auditorium we ask that parents do not bring children to the evening event.
